As a former wildland firefighter, Richard’s passion for putting out fires has lived on at Hummingbird Drones™. Leading the team’s field crews, FlySmart Training™ trainers and overseeing the company finances, Richard provides a steady hand for our growing team and exemplifies our values through his leadership.

Business Coordinator
Katie acts as the glue that bonds the operations team together and maintains order in everything Hummingbird Drones™ related. Her ever-growing resilience allows her to achieve and complete any tasks she puts her mind to. If a competition were to be held, she would be the multitasking champ. Or the first person to go up to a dog and give them pets.
Nico Torchia
Project Manager / Crew Coordinator
Sometimes leadership means being able to both manage people and get your hands dirty. With that, comes results and respect - two things which Nico commands at Hummingbird Drones™. Whether it's spending the extra hours to get the job done or rescuing a team in the middle of the night, Nico wears his commitment on his sleeve.

Protecting Nova as our DevOps specialist, Damien takes pleasure in tackling tough challenges and being reliable to the team. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the West Coast with his pup or building his next Raspberry Pi project. Rumours say, Damien has never been seen without a cup of coffee in his hand.

Leading user interface design for Nova, website and marketing material for Hummingbird Drones™ and FlySmart Training™, Jason’s passion for design and versatility across different mediums shine as he works to bring the vision of the team to life. When he’s not working, he’s often running but good luck trying to catch him.

Full Stack Developer
Some people would say Connor's enthusiasm for life is undeniably infectious. These people are Connor's parents, but the sentiment still holds. Chooseing the adventurous path over anything else, he spend his days discovering the next hurdle, anytime, anywhere. The only thing Connor loves more than frontend development? The show Survivor. We forgive him for that.

Marketing Coordinator
Learning, growing and leaping through challenges are all accurate things you’ll see in Kasha as she takes any project in stride. Her balance of spontaneous laidback adventures pairs well when it comes down to focusing on work. She is the voice of FlySmart Training™, resident office DJ and project coordinator who can organize and execute a mission as easily as she can send a bouldering wall.
